The end game is to produce a number of policies that local, district and national authorities need to consider when determining the build environment of the local area.
This starts by developing some theme areas, looking at the evidence as it builds through surveys, questionnaires, open meetings and consultations with the public and developing policies based on this evidence and other sources of data that are available.
Once the policies are written a referendum is held and if adopted by the local population then the Neighbourhood Plan is “Made” and becomes a legal document.
